I believe I have the best boss in the world. My boss is Buck Rogers, GM of the Huntsville Stars Baseball. He cares about his employees, interns and especially the fans. He provides a good clean friendly environment for families to enjoy themselves at Joe Davis Stadium. During the year he has donated over $30,000 in tickets, souvenirs and money to various community organizations. He always includes and informs both staff and interns of social plans he may make so they will be a part if they wish. His attitude is family first and is always accommodating both staff and interns when family emergencies arise to take time off to attend to these matters. He also recognizes the need for time off and allows his staff and interns ample time to have free time to regenerate when needed He rewards his staff and volunteers each year with a dinner at a fine restaurant and generously gives us merchandise and tickets. He takes care of the players and coaches of the Stars and has at numerous times traveled several hours to make sure they are where the parent team wants them to be. He has donated the stadium for several events without monetary compensation at a considerable cost to the Stars. Operation Stand Down and Military Monday Concert in the Park are two of the biggest events. These are the reasons why I think I have the best boss in the world.

One last story to sum up what a great boss he is. One of our female employees had accepted a job at another stadium out of state and had to rent a truck to move her things. She was too afraid to drive the truck so Buck drove her there helped her move into the apartment and drove the truck back so she wouldn’t have to pay too much for the rental tuck. WOW!
