A school crossing guard filed a report with Huntsville Police after an altercation at Huntsville Middle School.

Police said the offender scratched the crossing guard and threw coffee in her face during the altercation.

A witness said a woman in a green SUV made a wrong turn while dropping off a student at the school when the crossing guard approached the driver.

The witness said there was an argument when the crossing guard pointed out the driving mistake.
