A former Shoals teacher is expected in a Colbert County courtroom for sentencing on sex crimes against a former student.  The sentencing is at 1:30 p.m.

A jury convicted Amanda Watkins in November of rape and sodomy for having sex with a former student in the parking lot of a school.
