An outbreak of bed bugs have been discovered at Johnson Towers Senior Apartments in Huntsville.

After receiving complaints from tenants, Johnson Towers' property manager conducted a door to door inspection, finding 20 more units were were infested by the bloodsucking bugs.

It's not the first time the critters have been discovered in Johnson Towers. In December, two units were found to be infested.

In only six months one healthy female bed bug can go from one to 30,000. But while itchy, the bugs don't appear to carry any pathogens or diseases.
