UAH Defeats Christian Brothers, 76-58, In Sunday Matinee

Sophomore guard Jasmine Hammon posted her fifth double-double of the season to lead the University of Alabama in Huntsville over Christian Brothers, 76-58, on Sunday afternoon at Spragins Hall. With the win, UAH moves to 13-3 on the year and 4-1 in conference play while CBU falls to 5-12 overall and 2-3 in the league.

 

Hammon finished the day just two points off her career-best in points with a game-high 27 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to notch her fifth double-double of the year and the 10th of her young career. Of her 27 points, 21 came in the first half alone.

 

With the victory, the Lady Chargers moved to 9-0 at home this season which matches the best start at home since the 1982-83 season. One more win at home will give UAH its best record at home to start a season in school history.
