Gene Chizik still isn't offering any hints on who he's going to hire as his offensive coordinator, but maybe a recruiting weekend offers a few clues. Auburn's head coach had to tell the offensive players something following the departure of Gus Malzahn, and this is one thing he said:
"He said it's going to be a little bit of the same. Four receivers. Three receivers," said receiver Jaquay Williams. "It'll be more a little pro style. It's going to be good."
Williams said he got the feeling Auburn would name its offensive coordinator "later in the week."
The delay, said Williams, "doesn't bother me at all."
"It's not a problem. I didn't fall in love with a coach. I feel in love with Auburn."
Still, Williams didn't completely rule out taking a recruiting visit somewhere else before signing day on Feb. 1. Could he follow top recruit and Stefon Diggs to Florida this weekend? Possible.
