A man was robbed in a parking lot Monday evening by a man offering to sell him something.

Police said Christopher Dewayne Jones, 26, was in the lot of 2821 University Drive when a man got into his car and made the sales pitch.

The man then pulled a gun and demanded Jones' property.

After getting Jones' cash he got into a car driven by a female and fled the area.

No arrests were reported in the 5:15 p.m. incident.
